I have had irritable bowel syndrome for more than 20 years but it was only 2 years ago that I finally started to learn how to control or manage it. Having been properly diagnosed to rule out any other possible problems I began to look for natural IBS treatments.

Firstly I saw a dietitian and began an elimination diet that took just over a year to complete. This in itself has enabled me to virtually manage my symptoms by eating the foods that I am able to digest well. However, stress has been a big triggar for my IBS and so my dietitian recommended hypnotherapy.

Having completed an IBS hypnotherapy course I now feel in control of my bowel rather than it controlling me! I still have a way to go in terms of feeling comfortable dining out or travelling too far but now I have the tools necessary to help me.

I intend to share all I have learnt so that I might be able to help other IBS sufferers so that you might begin to live and experience freedom in your day to day life.
