You know there are plenty of people who want to know if quinoa is safe to eat if you have ibs. I was highly amused to read on one website that someone thought it was cardboard? Maybe they were joking.

What is Quinoa?

Basically Quinoa is a seed that has no wheat in it. It has the added advantage of being completely natural and full of protein! Therefore it is a very healthy food to eat. It has become more popular as people have learnt more about it – not just vegetarians but for those on any diet.

If you are like me and find soluble fibre much easier to digest than insoluble fibre then you will most likely find quinoa is fine for you as it is a soluble form of fibre.

I would definitely recommend adding quinoa to your IBS diet.
